http://takeanotherbiteottawa.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
An Ottawa-based, food obsessed Chef who really just loves to eat. Monday, January 3, 2011. Fairly simple packaging, I just used up some leftover Christmas Contempo DSP and some Old Olive cardstock (Stamping Up) and wrapped it around, tied it up with some Old Olive ribbon and hey presto, magically wrapped cookies - ready for giving! Now the question is who will be the lucky recipients? Labels: chocolate chip cookies. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Seeing as we just woke up to a new year, one of my resolutions...

Take Another Bite: August 2012
http://takeanotherbiteottawa.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
An Ottawa-based, food obsessed Chef who really just loves to eat. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. From time to time we buy a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store for dinner. It's relatively cheap, it's quick and everyone in our house likes to eat it. Sometimes, when I am sick of making chicken salad the next day, I turn to the quesadilla for a change. With a tiny bit of prep work, you can enjoy some leftover chicken in a whole different way. 2 teaspoons vegetable oil. 1 onion, sliced. Heat oil in a non-...

An Ottawa-based, food obsessed Chef who really just loves to eat. Saturday, February 25, 2012. I am a bit obsessed with breakfast and brunch. It's my favourite meal of the day - any day. And, if my family allowed me, there would be pancakes for dinner more often! When I saw this recipe in the current issue (March 2012) of Bon Apetit I knew I had to try it out. I mean, Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes.just screams YUM! Makes 8 - 4" pancakes. 1 tablespoon unsalted butter. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. To pre...

Take Another Bite: Back to School Cookies
http://takeanotherbiteottawa.blogspot.com/2012/09/back-to-school-cookies.html
An Ottawa-based, food obsessed Chef who really just loves to eat. Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Back to School Cookies. It's "Off to School" in my house. That's right, it's my 4 year old son's first year in JK. We have spent an hour at the school with him, and he has been for one morning session with a few kids from his class. On Tuesday, he is fully immersed with the whole class of 22 other 4 year olds. I wish him luck. The original recipe contains only chocolate chips, and that was out only adaption.

An Ottawa-based, food obsessed Chef who really just loves to eat. Friday, September 21, 2012. Potato Leek Soup with Sweet Corn and Basil. I was shopping the other day, and came across leeks. I guess I am a leek fan. Potato Leek Soup with Sweet Corn and Basil. 1 onion, chopped. 1 clove garlic, chopped. Add potatoes, 1 cup...
