It's pronounced mawn-tie. January 21, 2012. A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words. Therefore, I give you 2011 in pictures = thousands and thousands of words. Happy New Year! We went to Idaho in July to see family. Then we wen to Michigan in August to see the other side of the family. Then I left Garrett in Michigan and went on an Alaskan cruise with my Mom! And we got to see a glacier calve and whales jump. Late summer/early fall we had a thunderstorm that created a double rainbow. And a beautiful sunset!

Kevin gave me a wonderful present for my birthday this year.a mommy vacation during his spring break! I was able to fly down to Desert Hot Springs, CA, to visit my friend from high school Laurie and her husband and new baby! I was gone for 4 days and 3 nights and had a wonderful time reconnecting with Laurie, hanging out by the hot springs pools, reading, going on walks, and enjoying the warmth! They took me to one of their favorite Mexican restaurants, and it was SO good. Garrett, Laurie, baby Timothy.

During the first part of our spring break we were able to spend a night at Aunt Kylie's house and visit her work! She has a pond outside her house that we tried fishing in. Keaton didn't see the value in sitting still for so long, and he preferred to throw rocks into the lake which didn't help our cause much. :). We didn't actually catch anything.
