http://jennknore.blogspot.com/2009/05/are-you-there-readers.html
Thursday, May 14, 2009. Are you there readers? I don't think anyone reads this.which is fine since it's more for my amusement during slow times at work anyway.but I'll keep posting as though somebody's out there. That said, I'll start with the good news - I got my PRAXIS I official scores back and I passed with flying colors! I'm still waiting for my PRAXIS II Math Content Knowledge scores, but they should only be a week or two away.nail-biter! I almost forgot - I talked to my boss! The Journal of Pants.

Mathletics: April 2009
http://jennknore.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Then another step forward. (You thought I was going to say two steps back didn't you? Thankfully, I don't think it will have any ill effects on my score - just the temporary effect of hand cramping. Aside from my hand cramp, I walked away from the test with confidence - mostly confident that I did the best I could. It's an unusual feeling to walk out with the thought that I could either have passed with flying colors, or completely tanked. It's a little unnerving to not. She was ...

Mathletics: May 2009
http://jennknore.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Focus has recently been an abstract concept to me. Something out there and somewhat unattainable. I'm not sure if it's hayfever or what, but I need to blame something - other than myself. Well, I. To blame something other than myself. But I think it's my own fault.shhh. With this fresh perspective, I managed to sign up for my first class, get a cover letter written, AND apply to Williamson County Schools (which is the school district where I would really like to work)! So, the ne...

Mathletics: June 2009
http://jennknore.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 1, 2009. My only frustration came in knowing that I'd have to study for this test again, pay another registration fee, and sit for another 2 hour long test. But immediately as those thoughts rushed my mind, the Lord spoke some very convicting words -. How hard are you really willing to work for this? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Mathletics: March 2009
http://jennknore.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Thankfully, in the midst of waiting, I have something to occupy myself - studying - dunh, dunh, dunh! So, I'm declaring my intention to fight back against the effects of "fall-outcha-brain" - though I realize that I might just reverse the effects and push 4 years of collegiate mathematics right out, but that's a risk I'm willing to take! Thursday, March 26, 2009. And so I wait. Note to self: don't try to make things happen on your own -. Well, it does tell me to be anxious for not...

Mathletics: Just call on me and I'll send it along...
http://jennknore.blogspot.com/2009/04/just-call-on-me-and-ill-send-it-along.html
Friday, April 3, 2009. Just call on me and I'll send it along. With love from me to you. I don't know why I felt the need to start with a Beatles song, but this entry is meant to be an encouragement - with love from me to you :). Recently, I have been thinking about my life up until this point (deep, i know). But just seeing how even before I gave my life to the Lord, God wastes. That I didn't want to teach - God has a great sense of humor). A plan for you regardless of age or stage in life (don't take m...

Mathletics: Step-by-Step
http://jennknore.blogspot.com/2009/04/step-by-step.html
Thursday, April 9, 2009. To preface, before I implode with joy, I must say that I am attempting (attempting being the key word) to stay guarded and grounded in my excitement. Today, I got a call - my second call in three days - to setup my graduate school interview! The admissions office has finally received all of my materials and called to schedule my interview with the Director of Graduate Admisisons in Education. I will be going in next Tuesday (mark your calendars, I'll be needing your prayers!

Mathletics: Accepted!
http://jennknore.blogspot.com/2009/04/accepted.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2009. No, this is not a reference to the 2006 movie with Justin Long and Blake Lively. I've been accepted to the Graudate Education program at Lipscomb University! She was also very helpful in laying out the steps I need to take for getting a teaching job - which, aside from my next test, is the next step in this process for me.
