The latest map of locations of the two juveniles fitted with satellite transmitters is above. The yellow track is Sheba's, the second juvenile we tagged on Fahal. There are two "high quality" locations marked on the map, indication that just today Sheba went on her first short excursions over the sea! Monday, October 18, 2010. Sinbad and Sheba probably recently fledged.

Satellite Tracking Sooty Falcons. This is an open access blog about sooty falcons. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Sheba shot in the DRC! I am sorry that I have to post these sad news here, but very obviously Sheba was shot in the Democratic Republic of the Congo! I was informed that a bird was shot by a hunter in the east of the DRC carrying the transmitter with the ID 94499.
