Media, News, Politics and more: July 2008
http://lisazimm.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Media, News, Politics and more. Thursday, July 31, 2008. Meant to post this yesterday. The day after news breaks about the Republican Alaskan Senator being. Indicted, the New York Post runs a fat cat. On the front cover. Most. News junkies would be really appalled. But it's a different story for. Me I do have some problems with it, but I'm not as upset as most hard. 1 Obvious. Put a cute fat animal on the cover = sell more papers. Now. Agree, however, at a time when the economy is in the pits, especially.

Media, News, Politics and more: Plane crash into the Hudson
http://lisazimm.blogspot.com/2009/01/plane-crash-into-hudson.html
Media, News, Politics and more. Thursday, January 15, 2009. Plane crash into the Hudson. On perhaps one of the coldest days. Of the season US Airways flight 1549 went down. In the Hudson River. The plane that just left La Guardia airport went down after hitting a flock of geese. So far no deaths. Within 5 minutes of take off the flight went down. Can you imagine being on that flight? Luckily the pilot landed well in the river. And they were close enough to the city to get help from officials.

https://bostoncomments.wordpress.com/2008/03/29/bu-scenes-in-the-movie-21-funny
BU scenes in the movie 21. Funny. I just saw the movie 21. At the Fenway theater. It’s pretty good. But the coolest part, I must say, were all the crazy Boston scenes throughout the film. Especially if you’re a Boston University student. No one else in the world will realize how BU is an impostor MIT throughout the entire movie. Funny stuff. 1) Opening scene is the lovely Charles. You can see Warren Towers, etc. 2) The main character, Ben, has his math class in Photonics. Any that I missed? I thought the...

Media, News, Politics and more: Video game recruits?
http://lisazimm.blogspot.com/2009/01/video-game-recruits.html
Media, News, Politics and more. Monday, January 5, 2009. Yes, let's encourage kids/ 18 adults who might as well be kids to play video games and tell them the army is just as cool. Because as it's pointed out in the article, if you die in the video you start over, you die in life, you're dead. Deception is key to persuasion apparently. Well it's a new year with a new administration,. maybe they won't have to recruit as much. Who knows? Picture pulled from here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Right now, as I write, I know someone on a bus. Down to DC, wonder if he'll make it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Who will win the 2008 Presidential Election? Subscribe in a reader.
