Thailand, Chiang Mai | Early Retirement Abroad
http://earlyretirementabroad.com/thailand-chiang-mai
Thailand, Chiang Mai. January 17, 2015. I can’t believe that our 6 weeks stay at Chiang Mai almost over. On Jan 19 will be flying to one of our favorite cities, Kuala Lumpur, where we plan to obtain a new Thai Visa. During our 10 days stay we’ll see old friends, do some shopping, and indulge ourselves with so many things this city can offer. The last few days Chiang Mai continues to surprise us with the new cafes, parks, Wats (temples), and people. Kids dressed up…asking for money…. Thailand, Chiang Mai.

Digi's Stylings: September 2009
http://digisstylings.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Insight, foresight and hindsight into digistyle's quest to achieve "Pixelly Goodness" in digital painting and drawing. Friday, September 11, 2009. A little something that I painted to commemorate Disney's recent acquisition of Marvel; a fusion of Natasha Romanov (aka The Black Widow) and Jessica Rabbit. Links to this post. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. I started with a sketch over a neutral color background, blocked in the lights and darks over a midtone and blocked in the skintones. Links to this post.

Digi's Stylings: Jungle Elf
http://digisstylings.blogspot.com/2010/03/jungle-elf.html
Insight, foresight and hindsight into digistyle's quest to achieve "Pixelly Goodness" in digital painting and drawing. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. This painting started out as a warm up sketch, then it evolved into a value study. I wound up pushing it a bit more by adding a background. I decided to try working out a depth of field effect. Then I played with giving the environment a a sense of temperature, to portray hot and steamy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe in a reader. In My Art Library.

The Blog of Stuart Pearl Photography: Cutting The Ribbon on Cleveland's New Bridge
http://pearlphoto.blogspot.com/2013/12/cutting-ribbon-on-clevelands-new-bridge.html
Thursday, December 5, 2013. Cutting The Ribbon on Cleveland's New Bridge. 169; Stuart Pearl 2013. Click on Image to Enlarge for Slideshow. As a photographer I enjoy looking for interesting light when I visit downtown Cleveland. These are the unique shadows and highlights that create special urban compositions. It's a challenge to create something really different that will make people stop and consider the image before them. I want to show something they haven't seen before. Politicians, construction wor...

Digi's Stylings: Catching Up - Santa's Elf
http://digisstylings.blogspot.com/2010/03/catching-up-santas-elf.html
Insight, foresight and hindsight into digistyle's quest to achieve "Pixelly Goodness" in digital painting and drawing. Sunday, March 21, 2010. Catching Up - Santa's Elf. I haven't posted to my blog in quite a while. I'm going to try to be more regular. This was done for Christmas, obviously. I consider it one of my best attempts at portraiture. All the pieces came together for me on this one. From the skin tones to the hair to the texture of the fur, I was very satisfied with the results.

Digi's Stylings: April 2010
http://digisstylings.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Insight, foresight and hindsight into digistyle's quest to achieve "Pixelly Goodness" in digital painting and drawing. Friday, April 9, 2010. This week, I picked up a copy of "Rough Justice: The Comics Sketches of Alex Ross." It is a visual feast! One of the things that I like about Ross' style is his use of edges. They really make his work feel solid. Also, how he make his characters appear "real," but still retain that "painterly" quality. Links to this post. Thursday, April 1, 2010. Links to this post.

Insight, foresight and hindsight into digistyle's quest to achieve "Pixelly Goodness" in digital painting and drawing. Thursday, April 1, 2010. Slipping the Bonds of Gravity. This is another old painting that I started years ago, but never finished. Well, this one is done now. I won't go into what this painting represents to me. I think that it would be better for you to interpret it for yourself. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe in a reader. View my complete profile. The Art of Andre Moore.

Insight, foresight and hindsight into digistyle's quest to achieve "Pixelly Goodness" in digital painting and drawing. Thursday, March 5, 2009. Star Wars Scribble - Sith versus Jedi. A little Star Wars doodle that I'd started and was inspired to finish after spending some time looking through the concept art from the book that I profiled in my previous post, "The Art of Star Wars - Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.". Digi's Stylings: July 2009
http://digisstylings.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Insight, foresight and hindsight into digistyle's quest to achieve "Pixelly Goodness" in digital painting and drawing. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. I came across an old scribble today that I thought was worth sharing. I believe I'd recently watched "Pale Rider," starring Clint Eastwood, when I scratched out this sketch. I always liked those dusters that the "lawmen for hire" wore in that movie. Links to this post. Sunday, July 26, 2009. Art of Guild Wars. Links to this post. Monday, July 20, 2009. A quick cha...
