One lone ginger against the world. July 29, 2014. To be honest….I really did not like Sydney. It was the first stop for my trip and I had a rough go. My first night was miserable (read Australia life) and I was a little green as a traveller getting off the plane alone for the first time minus any safety net at 18. Besides these facts it did have good things. Bondi Beach gets two big thumbs up! Looking back i regret not doing the Bridge Climb😦. Even on a crappy windy rainy day this view is stunning.

One lone ginger against the world. Byron Bay and Nimbin. July 31, 2014. I loved Byron Bay, not only is it named after my beloved brother Byron (not really but the name is pretty rare other than the poet) it also has an amazing beach, chilled out vibe, awesome backpacker bars and you can take a short tour to a magical place called Nimbin, where weed cookies are sold in abundance. After a full day they return you back to the meeting place on the main drag of Byron Bay, to say the least it was lovely.🙂.
