Je me joindrai à toi…. 24 avril 2013 à 20:28. Ce projet me paraît merveilleux.

Prend...

Headed south!: Un-Belize-able!!!
http://wiredbarb.blogspot.com/2015/06/un-belize-able.html
Iain and I cooling ourselves off with handmade palm fans at. Marcos Gonzalez Maya Site on Ambergris Caye. How did it take me so long to explore mainland Belize? Oh I know…I got sucked into the “laid back, island time” atmosphere and had a hard time extricating myself from the island of Ambergris Caye during my 3 month stay in San Pedro, Belize last fall. It is indeed tough to leave; I returned to the island this year in early May to pet sit for a month, and almost, *almost*, extended my stay there again.

http://wiredbarb.blogspot.com/2012/10/back-to-palenque-for-drum-festival.html
Back to Palenque for the Drum Festival! I was just back in San Basilio de Palenque! In my other post about this pueblo. Our lunch cooking outside! Her hairstyle took about 5 hours to do. In addition, there were various dance and music groups performing at various times of the day so we were well entertained and cultured. More photos from the Drum Festival Day in Palenque found here. Labels: San Basilio de Palenque. Im heading to Colombia next week. I read an article in the NYT about San Basilio de Pa...

Headed south!: International Nomad
http://wiredbarb.blogspot.com/2014/09/international-nomad.html
Cheering on USA in the World Cup. Did you see this article in the NY Times this past weekend? 8220; Increasingly, Retirees Dump Their Possessions and Hit the Road. While I’m not a retiree (“ p. Re”-tiree perhaps), the article described my life well in many ways! 8220;international nomad”. 8220;…downsized to the extreme, choosing a life of travel.”. 8220;While many….ultimately return home or become expatriates, some live like vagabonds.”. I’m a vagabond? Where have my wanderings taken me since March?

Headed south!: Getting my flip-flop tan back
http://wiredbarb.blogspot.com/2015/05/getting-my-flip-flop-tan-back.html
Getting my flip-flop tan back. What is this white stuff we're on? Silly me, I spent the winter in the U.S., mostly in the northeast experiencing more snow and cold than I have in this century! I hope the kids had as much fun as Aunt Barb did! While in California, in addition to catching up with more friends and family, I “lightened my load” — did some serious work on having less stuff. Back in 2011, when I started this 6-12 monthlong venture (ha, that was 48 months ago! First stop: México. My sister ...

Headed south!: Food in a bag
http://wiredbarb.blogspot.com/2011/12/food-in-bag.html
Food in a bag. I never thought about packaging ketchup in a bag before, but why not? It's like those ketchup packets you get at McDonald's, only on a larger scale, right? And if it works for ketchup, why not mayonnaise and mustard? And milk for that matter (which I'll admit I have seen before). Not just whole, 2% and skim, but condensed milk too. Be creative! Bag your water, your lotion, and your liquid soap while you're at it. It's convenient and space saving! Sour cream and alioli. Labels: Food in a bag.
