Sunday, July 24, 2011. There are no words to describe the tragedy of what happened in Oslo and Utøya yesterday. How privileged I am that my friends, family and dear ones are safe and sound. Today has been a sad and dark day. Flags at half mast everywhere. Festivals and joyful events cancelled out of respect for the fallen and those left behind. Norway is in mourning. Thursday, October 28, 2010. It's time for Africa! Just a short update! That's all I have time and internet capacity for right now,- in Marrakech! Together with Mariana I left Granada 19.00 pm on Wednesday. 6 hours by bus later we arrived in Madrid and hurried on to the airport, where we met up with Maria and Mario and 5 other Brazilians. After 4-5 cold and sleepy hours in the waiting hall plus 2 unconcious hours in the airplane, we landed in Africa! More specifically: Marocco and Marrakech. Today is my 51.

Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Thoughts on Christmas presents. Most of us really want to show our love for friends and family buy giving them things we know they want, need or like. I love giving presents to my loved ones. I love finding something when not looking for anything, and thinking "Wow! This is perfect for X! S)he's gonna love it! If it's a really close friend, but the thingy costs a bit more than I am comfortable with paying, - what do to? Am I being neurotic? I've heard about this artist!

Monday, January 24, 2011. No, not in the way you probably think. Homesick as in I've caught a cold because our apartment is SO FRIGGIN' COLD! So, I took the afternoon off and hid under the covers as soon as I'd eaten the last scraps of my Saturday dinner. Finally saw "The Social Network" and imidiately checked my facebook account afterwords. Felt wierd. Got over it quick enough though.
