Wednesday, August 26, 2009. A large population of the Ancestral Puebloan People lived in the area we now call Cedar Mesa, in southwestern Utah. Many well-preserved structures can be found in the canyons of Cedar Mesa, along with pictographs and petroglyphs telling their story. Though the ruin sites were excavated long ago, artifacts like pottery shards, corncobs, grindstones and the occasional arrowhead or stone tool can still be found. August 26, 2009 at 5:48 PM.
