We decided it was a little farther than we want to travel for our mountain days since they're just day trips but it's definitely a place we'd like to go back to for a long weekend sometime. Friday, September 2, 2011. The J got a dog this week! He's getting used to us and as I watch him I'm coming to see that he'll fit in just perfectly around here. He likes to bury himself in Js comforter to sleep just the way J does. Then I watched him eating this morning:. He takes food out of his bowl one piece at a time and lays them out on the floor then eats them one at a time from the floor and I thought "where have I seen that before? Tuesday, June 16, 2015. We took a much needed break from our house this weekend and just had fun. Friday night we went to Wicked. Dave hadn't seen it before but he knows and loves all the songs. It was great fun - he was sort of like a kid at Christmas. :). On Saturday we went to the Renaissance Festival. We had. They've been required to keep the old buildings so there are still beautiful old buildings to look at BUT they are now marred with casino signs every few feet. Thursday, July 17, 2014. Our first stop was Dillon Reservoir and the town of Frisco. We started at Dillon and learned our first lesson - make sure to check what's going on the weekend you're going up. This was the inaugural Frisco Triathalon so a lot of the roads were closed off to cars so that the cyclists could make their trek.
