Thursday, October 11, 2012. I bought the above on eBay - a dark blue vintage briefcase once belonging to piano teacher containing music books, examination information and certificates. These music scores are what I have used as my backgrounds in my latest Piano Ladies. These are old cuttings also in the case. They are pieces of music torn from newspapers - there was also a Radio Times supplement with these, dating 1934. Lovely colours and below some finished work inspired by these. Say food say me.

Thursday, October 20, 2011. I'd love to design some scarves! I bought a copy of World of Interiors a few years ago. The cover was interesting as it had a room with scarves framed on the wall. I'm selling some paintings as prints already and I thought scarves may be a another nice idea. They can be framed or worn, simple as some of my monoprints, or maybe more complicated tailor made paintings. I also do so very much love my vintage souvenir scarves! Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Monday, July 16, 2012. Trying to work with the monoprinting and the ink together. In reality it is not working as well as it does in my imagination but I shall persevere. Saturday, November 03, 2012. I went home this week, a far to rare occurence. This landscape was my playground as a child, wild band of youngsters finding the delight in throwing toadstools and jumping in Cow pats. My youngest asked how many times I'd been in the field at the rear of my family home, not just my family home but my Dad moved there when he was 4yrs and is now hitting his 80's. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. While I'm picking up chocolate wrappers. I'm thinking of packing up waterproofs. While I'm considering the impact and horrors of the slave trade. I'm bleaching the toilet. While I'm guilt ridden about the length of the grass,. I'm pondering the length of the love affair. I'm considering the space and trying desperately not to over fill it. while a percentage of me is desperately remembering it's a part over the total. Today my brain is full, some of it not so productive.
