As we move forward with our spring 2011 ride calendar, I recommend that we ALL use the following designations for our rides. I have learned from riding over 25 years that posting an average speed for a ride is pointless. . .it doesn't help people decide if a ride is appropriate and it doesn't really help the ride leader(s) manage a posted ride. Expect attack zones and an overall high average.

Monday, July 12, 2010. The last race of the spring season passed by a few weeks ago. I was pretty excited to race but I knew the fields would be small.
