The Quilts – GloryQuilts
https://gloryquilts.wordpress.com/the-quilts
These are quilts I have made – the ones I have pictures of. Most of the quilts I made between 1986 and 2000 are not available as digital images, and there were. Quilts I never took pictures of. It’s painfully apparent in these photographs that the quality of my digital pictures was pretty bad at first. Please believe that they are all much prettier than they look in some of these pictures! The Four Remaining Boot Blocks | SwedeHearts
https://swedehearts.wordpress.com/2011/07/15/the-four-remaining-boot-blocks
The Four Remaining Boot Blocks. I admit… I was very tempted to throw them out. I thought there were three left, but when I cleaned my sewing room, I found another. *sigh* I made two totes and two little wall quilts. The binding on the wall quilts is not stitched to the back yet, so it looks a little messy here. The bags are lined and have interior pockets. The back of the pink one is pieced . The drawstring bag is made with Michael Miller’s medium teal Fairy Frost fabric. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Time for knitting mittens, scarves and hats! I’ve been doing those portable projects during work and Christmas travels. I get most of my patterns at RAVELRY. 8211; a super resource. I made grandbaby hats and mittens this year, as well as a scarf for myself. So fun! Knit One Blog Two. I have a naked wall! – GloryQuilts
https://gloryquilts.wordpress.com/2015/06/25/i-have-a-naked-wall
I have a naked wall! June 25, 2015. October 7, 2015. At Christmas, my husband made a fireplace for me. In addition to giving me another opportunity for decorating (and hanging the stockings I may eventually finish), I now a big space over a fireplace mantel, perfect for displaying seasonal quilts. I’ve always rotated seasonal quilts throughout the house, but with this new wall, I need to make some more! So I took it down today, and that wall looks embarrassed without any. Do you have seasonal quilts?

Teaching Granddaughters to Sew – No Greater Joy! – GloryQuilts
https://gloryquilts.wordpress.com/2015/06/05/teaching-granddaughters-to-sew-no-greater-joy
Teaching Granddaughters to Sew – No Greater Joy! June 5, 2015. October 7, 2015. Sewing for my granddaughters is a pleasure that sometimes gets lost in the business of quilting and sewing for others, but I do love it. This week, while Alanna was visiting, she made the skirt all by herself. I cut it out and basted part of the binding at the hem, but she chose the fabric and did all of the sewing, using the serger as well as the regular sewing machine. It’s quite an accomplishment for a ten-year-old! Click ...
