Yet when you are outside they will be your Velcro and at your side no matter how hot. We just want to remind you when your dogs are out with you make sure they have plenty of fresh cold water, I fill our bucket with ice cubes, keeps them busy! Monday, July 6, 2009. I'm Skittles (sorry blogger couldn't find a Skittle background). I came in with my sister Kasey. I am a young girl, 2 years old. I just finished my Heartworm treatment. Please check our medical blog in regard to Heartworm. Remember once treated dogs who had Heartworm can go on to live normal, active, healthy lives. Due to my treatment I will not be available for adoption for another 5 weeks. I also had a little corrective surgery on my eye, but I am as good as new now!

Thursday, August 13, 2009. Hello all, Ms. Violet here. I am happy to say with some very good news! Last Friday I went to see my favorite Doc C and was able to get my very last heartworm treatment! I did much better on the second and third series and except for a sore back through the process overall it went very well and I am already feeling more like myself everyday. My chest sounded great and my xrays looked good as well.that was really a relief! I am even feeling up to flirting with the boys a bit!
