Today is Fathers' Day or Father's Day or Fathers Day - a less crucial version of Mothers' (or etc.) Day. The reason for this blog entry is that my daughter's card destroyed a photo. which I wanted to preserve for posterity. It shows daughter, elder son, and me in my parents garden years ago. Last weekend a group of 22 of us rented The Youth Hostel in Tintagel for a long weekend. The view from the hostel was breathtaking and we enjoyed cliff-top walks and investigated some of the beaches and caves. Bay below Tintagel Youth Hostel. Apart from its shear scale (5 millions objects; 8 miles of corridors) the variety of artefacts was amazing. The general theme is art and design.
