Import Point Clouds and Cameras. Spatial data from Agisoft Photoscan, Photosynth, and other Structure From Motion Software can be imported into Maya through the Mattepainting Toolkit. In addition to camera projection mapping, the Mattepainting Toolkit also supports spherical projections for equirectangular maps. Multiple HDRIs can be mapped onto geometry and blended together. Paint Mattes on Geometry. Bake Textures to UVs. Viewport 2.0 Support. Bake shaders to UVs. Support for third party renderers.

Why can't I see textures in the viewport? If you're using version 3.0 of the toolkit, make sure you're using Viewport 2.0. Then, make sure you're in shaded mode ("6" on the keyboard.) If you're using gs mptk version 2.0, you must be in Default Rendering in order to see the textures displayed. MPTK seems to run slowly and/or texture thumbnails are not updating in the UI.
