Mine and my Wife's Journey with DDPYoga. Monday, August 12, 2013. Today was a good day! Got a little stress about money out of the way for now, so that is good for the moment. Small victory but I'll take it. Next thing, all my close friends and family that I've gotten into DDPY are doing great so far! Now on to the food. I have a tendency to improvise rather than following instructions. I'm not sure why - I mean, why spend even a minute thinking about something if someone's already done the thinking for me and I've paid that person to tell me what to do? Well, no more. So next time I want that glass of wine at night? Next time I think eating gluten-free pizza is a great idea?

I'll keep checking in here but I really just want my back to heal. I hope this is nothing more serious than a pulled muscle, because I have crappy health insurance. Maybe I should get into my car and roll into a tree at slow speed or something - because I have good auto insurance! I saw a good movie yesterday called The Spectacular Now.

Diamond in the Rough. A Winding Path Toward Healthy Living. Thursday, September 5, 2013. Day 54. Huh. It doesn't feel like day 60 should be right around the corner. I don't think I'll be updating pics for the 60 days.not much has changed so far. On the plus side.juicing feels good! I've been drinking about 64oz per day of freshly squeezed fruit/vegetable juice. I still eat other food, so it's not a juice fast, but I'm eating only whole foods - nothing processed, no gluten, no dairy. RHC = Red Hot Core.

At 60 pounds less than where I am today I'll weigh the same I did in college - 143. I worked out regularly and felt fit back then. I've never been a skinny girl - I've always been strong, muscular. So we're shooting for that weight. 2 My fasting blood sugar will be below 95, on 5 out of 7 mornings that I test. I guess that's enough goals for now. No need to go completely crazy.
