Friday, March 31, 2006. I've arrived.sort of. Wendy Guesthouse, Saturday 6 am, Bangkok. Yesterday I arrived in Bangkok. What a smelly, dirty, busy, and wonderful city this is! I had to wait for about an hour in line at the immigration booth.and then down to claim my bag (which I had to check, apparently the limit is 7 kilos and mine weighed in at a laughable 17. Thursday, April 27, 2006. Wendy Guesthouse, Bangkok, 1pm. I woke up this morning (yesterday came in from the islands to Bangkok, arrived around 10pm) with a swollen, throbbing face.
