Whats I Saw: 02/11
http://whatsisaw.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
JibsforCribs is a company that makes an at-home rail system, without the whole DIY hassle. They're adjustable boxes and rails, pre-fabricated, and hinged so you can plop whatever kind of rail/box you want into whatever situation suits your fancy. Last saturday night, Bruce Sandstrom, Dave Krezel, Eric Pratt, and I met up with Jibsforcribs owner/creator Matt Pittman, and suited our fancies. Eric Pratt, tailpress. Eric Pratt, nosepress. Bruce Lee, from a tree. Yay rhyme. Front one, 50-50, tap out. Blacknin...

I've been procrastinating on this post because I feel obligated to write something about the epic day that produced these shots.but I'm not really into writing. I like to take pictures. So here are the pictures I took. I hope you like them. You can see video clips and more photos from this trip at Green Mountain Rippers Films. Thanks to Chris, Elliot, Dave, Nick and John for letting me roll with the crew again. Good times guys. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Whats I Saw: East of the river with skiers.
http://whatsisaw.blogspot.com/2011/03/east-of-river-with-skiers.html
East of the river with skiers. There's a pressing topic that I've been avoiding on this blog. The discussion can no longer be delayed. Its time we address an issue that has been contentious amongst snowboarders since the very inception of our sport. Our relationship with skiers. Cue the 80's music. Snowshoes/skins required. 1/3 of a mile feels like a marathon in waist-deep pow. Flat lighting leads to a close call. That grey void is a 20 foot drop to the salmon river. Either one 8x10, or whatever combination of smaller prints can fit on the page, one image per page). Riders get a $5 discount. I'm still trying to figure out how to solve my server/storage issues. Gonna have to delete post periodically until i get more space. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. April 17, 2016. This was the last weekend of operation for the Heaven’s Gate Triple so I thought it prudent to use my voucher for Sugarbush before Lincoln Peak closed for the season. Yeah, like a surfboard, except you don't float in snow like you do in water.". A rare view of Powerline - untracked. Some easy to find glade at JPR. On a Saturday. Labels: Actual ski reports. The Real Jay Peak Snow Report: March 2014
http://jonnyjay.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
The Real Jay Peak Snow Report. Sunday, March 23, 2014. Vulcanized: powder, people and pain at Jay Peak. Let me tell you a story: it was THIS deep. So, why are we driving through this again? Oh, yes, to go skiing, of course! An on-map glade, late Thursday morning. Still plenty for everyone. Not so thin thin cover on NWP. Ooops Hit a surprise drift, double eject, sitting on my ass, might as well snap a photo. A rabbit hole on Tramside. Watch out for the spike. A little unexpected activity on the 242. Rangi...
