http://www.gmffc.com/p/2013-camp-re-cap.html
2013 Camp Re-Cap (Week #2). We had yet another great session of Green Mountain Fly Fishing Camp this week with 12 young anglers between 12 and 15! This week, we had kids from MA, CT, TX, NH, VT, NY and London! 8 of the 12 kids arrived at camp with little to no fly fishing experience and 12 of the 12 left with plenty of fish stories to tell. It was absolutely amazing to see how fast these kids progressed with casting, knots, fly tying and catching fish! You guys set an example that the industry should fol...

http://www.dpcvt.com/p/2016-dpc.html
Our new DPC Champ! Dillon Brooker (Kind of a Big Dill). Every year immediately post-Pickle, I feel a huge sense of relief that we got through another successful Pickle and also a real bummed out feeling that another year is in the history books. In all, there were 72 teams and 163 anglers that showed up to the Pickle Family Reunion this year. A large jump from 134 anglers in 2015! We did hear of some Picklers that went to the wrong venue for the awards. All the details were listed on the 2016 DPC. Dillon...

Ditch Pickle Classic Fly Fishing Tournament: 2011 DPC
http://www.dpcvt.com/p/2011-dpc_10.html
I can’t believe that the 2011 Ditch Pickle Classic is a part of history and we’ve got to wait a whole year until the 2012 DPC, but believe me when I say I couldn’t be happier with how things went down on Saturday. 65279;. 65279;. The fishing was far from fast and furious and I could have fried an egg on the deck of the boat it was so hot, but most anglers caught fish despite the conditions and one common theme across the board was that everyone had a great time both on the water and at the awards BBQ!

2014 DPC Champ, John Cooper (Team Imbassiles), posing with the 19.75" smallmouth that won him the Big Pickle Pool. I can't believe after all the planning, stress and finger-crossing, the 2014 DPC is finally in the history books. This year's event was bigger and better than ever, with 115 anglers spread among 51 teams competing for over $6,000 in cash and prizes! Roland cranking out the grillables. Fly Fishing in Vermont: January 2015
http://flyfishvermont.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Fly Fishing in Vermont. A mediocre fly fisherman trying to catch fish all over the state of Vermont. My wife and son are my sometimes-accomplices. Wednesday, January 21, 2015. It's still winter, but I'm getting ready to fish. I really love reading stories about people who get out fly fishing in the winter. I wish I had the time to do that, but my passion to teaching skiing pretty much eats up all of my spare time in the winter. The Fly Fishing Film Tour and the Otter Creek Classic are on my mind already.

Fly Fishing in Vermont. A mediocre fly fisherman trying to catch fish all over the state of Vermont. My wife and son are my sometimes-accomplices. Monday, November 17, 2014. Saturday morning, I was getting ready to go fishing. It was cold and windy, but I knew I could stay warm enough. My plan was to fish the Winooski below the Bolton power dam. I looked all around the place where I parked, hoping the fly box might have dropped when I was putting my gear away. I hiked down to the White River, looking...

Fly Fishing in Vermont. A mediocre fly fisherman trying to catch fish all over the state of Vermont. My wife and son are my sometimes-accomplices. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Looking ahead to the next season. Lastly, I'm teaching skiing every weekend right now. I enjoy the winters and summers here in VT. I miss skiing in the summer and I miss fly fishing in the winter, but I'm lucky to live somewhere that I can participate in at least one of these sports year round, and there are brief periods wh...I pro...
