There have recently been some cases of interference to Amateur satellites from EchoLink nodes operating in the satellite sub-band from 145.800 - 146.000 MHz. When setting up a node on 2 meters, please avoid this frequency range. A new book, "Nifty E-Z Guide to EchoLink Operation", is now available. In eleven chapters, this book covers many of the details of setup, configuration, and operation of an EchoLink node. The book is available from niftyaccessories.com.
