For the vegetarians I made South African eggplant stew with peanuts, raisins, garlic onions and spices and made an apple chutney and coconut rice with potatoes and peas for both entree’s. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Food safety and cooking questions. Basic Baking Recipes – Small and Large Scale. I will also be posting some of my cooking and more baking recipes soon. These are from my Camp cooking buddy Michiline Dulac, from Zanzibar, who also gave me the recipe for the Date Squares and the bran muffins. I acquired this recipe from a fishing camp in beautiful Horsefly B.C. This recipe keeps well in a sealed container in the refrigerator if you like to make your batter in advance.

As you may have noticed, I have not been posting a lot on this blog in the last little while. I have been working on a new site. The new site will have all of the information in this site and added features such as a forum, online quizzes and cooking videos. While I master the technical challenges for this task (which should be done soon) I will continue to post most of my new stuff here.
