Meet Mom, the Enemy of Fun: A Matter of Professional Pride
http://deroundy.blogspot.com/2011/04/matter-of-professional-pride.html
Meet Mom, the Enemy of Fun. Thursday, April 28, 2011. A Matter of Professional Pride. At first I thought that this must have been created by an engineer (no insult intended to the engineers in my life), but then I flipped the page over and saw this:. Yes, Virginia, there is extra-terrestrial life, and the aliens happen to be interned in a labor camp in North Korea making discount tupperware. Kayla D. and Cortney R. April 28, 2011 at 6:08 PM. That hand totally creeps me out. April 29, 2011 at 8:02 AM.

Keeping Family Connected: Grandma and The Warren's Visit: Home, Zoo, and Science Center
http://sandhbrian.blogspot.com/2010/11/grandma-andthe-warrens-visit-home-zoo.html
Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Grandma and The Warren's Visit: Home, Zoo, and Science Center. Making a build a bear at the science center. The girls are seeing what it would feel like to be in a earthquake. Okay, so we asked this girl to take our picture. Isn't it great? Apparently she didn't think my cousin Wendy was as tall as she is! And I love that my eyes are closed and a few others are looking down or away, but at least we know who was there that day! Millie and Allison playing together! Kennedy is ama...

http://sandhbrian.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 26, 2010. We have a thumb sucker. That little thumb is constantly in her mouth. That is yellow finger paint. I promise! She LOVES to do crafts. Thought she was sneaky by just tasting a little. Kennedy would hold Millie all day if I let her. She loves to put things on her head. Spencer and I had a competition going with Hula Hoop it's pretty serious stuff. Spencer was tickeling her feet. Kennedy is obsessed with Hula Hoop on Wii Fit. Spencer got me those beautiful flowers. Spencer has a f...

Meet Mom, the Enemy of Fun: August 2011
http://deroundy.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Meet Mom, the Enemy of Fun. Thursday, August 4, 2011. So when the Marriott-Slaterville City Baby Pageant was announced, how could I pass up the opportunity to show her off a little bit more? Rules were simple: under 1 year and nothing but a diaper. How could she not win? So you can imagine my shock when the they announced the winners, and my gorgeous baby came in last place. That's right, last place. I do love that girl! Kayla D. and Cortney R. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Kayla D. and Cortney R.

CDA Armstrongs: March 2010
http://chrisarmstrongfamily.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
News from Chris, Jill, Carol Lin, Emma, Matthew and Amanda. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. This is a little late, but it was my dad's birthday on Monday. Now that I have small children of my own I thought back to when I was a child. My brothers and I used to have so much fun dancing like crazy as my Dad would play the chorus to "Green, Green". I don't know how to play the guitar, but it is fun to watch my kids dance like crazy to the theme music to Vegie Tales. Thanks for playing with us dad!

Keeping Family Connected: April 2009
http://sandhbrian.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 20, 2009. I love this picture because it is exactly how Avery feels about Spencer. I really don't think she could get any closer to him. They both slept like that forever. She LOVES her Dad. You have never seen such a thing. When he walks in the room she dances and claps and immediately. Starts crawling to him. She will cuddle with him forever and hardly ever cuddles with me. She is always giving him kisses and has yet to kiss me. It is really cute. Gear I need to get with it! And she would...

Meet Mom, the Enemy of Fun: Unfun
http://deroundy.blogspot.com/2012/04/unfun.html
Meet Mom, the Enemy of Fun. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Lots of times, I love being the mom of a 4-year-old. And other times, she says things like, "Mama, pretend I'm a kitty, and pretend my name is Sparkle.". No, I don't love animals, don't want to feed them, clean up after them, or hear them cry. The idea of pretending to love "Sparkle" pushes boundaries of my natural mothering feelings. What is with these games where you actually have to listen? The unfun has just begun. Friday, May 29, 2009. Thursday, May 14, 2009. The girls play so cute together. I found them laughing at eachother with their glasses on. I just love being with these girls all day long they make me laugh often. Monday, May 11, 2009. Birthday and Mother's Day. How amazing is this cake? Spencer made it for me. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up from my nap to such a beautiful cake! My favorite person ever! I love being a Mom to these amazing girls! Monday, May 4, 2009. Kennedy and her BFF.

News from Chris, Jill, Carol Lin, Emma, Matthew and Amanda. Tuesday, November 18, 2008. The Faith of a Child. At this point Carol Lin reminded me of a story she heard at church about a little boy with an ear ache that went to the doctor and said a prayer that his ear would get better. She said that the little boy's prayer was answered. I told her that she could say a prayer and ask Heavenly Father to help her ear feel better. At my suggestion she knelt. Oh, to have that kind of faith! The Faith of a Child.
