The Ford had a spec which folk would find unbelievable today. For a start, the window wiper was driven off the vacuum created by the inlet manifold. Great if you stood still at traffic lights on tickover, but if you floored the throttle to pass anything the wiper stopped! Then there was the accelerator. That was in the middle!
