knittingbrow: RIP my first UFO sweater
http://knittingbrow.blogspot.com/2012/08/rip-my-first-ufo-sweater.html
Colorful loops of daily living. Wednesday, August 8, 2012. RIP my first UFO sweater. RIP my first UFO sweater. A photo by knittingbrow. This is a picture of the first sweater I almost finished knitting. The color is perfect for me; however the fiber is not. It's mohair. I finished all the pieces to this sweater fairly quickly after I started but never seemed it so I could finish the collar and start wearing it. I started it almost 10 years ago. And I can move on to completing other UFOs. RIP my first UFO...

knittingbrow: knittingbrow's quilting adventure
http://knittingbrow.blogspot.com/2012/07/knittingbrows-quilting-adventure.html
Colorful loops of daily living. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. I recently visited my sister. And quilted for the first time. I took my friend Connie who is already a quilter. Here's a picture of the fabric before I started. Here's a short video about me starting my adventure. I cut about 595 2 1/2" squares. A few of the squares were made from four 1" squares. I was really organized. I turned those squares into this very long strip of fabric. It was a lot of. And the morning after video. I have often thought abou...

knittingbrow: I am a 15 year old boy
http://knittingbrow.blogspot.com/2012/06/i-am-15-year-old-boy.html
Colorful loops of daily living. Friday, June 8, 2012. I am a 15 year old boy. I am a 15 year old boy. A photo by knittingbrow. I saw this handspun yarn while at the Great Lakes Fiber Festival a couple of weeks ago. I read the contents twice to make sure I read what I read. I put the yarn down quietly and walked away. Then my inner 15 yr old boy showed up. I giggled and had to walk back and take a picture. I share my adolescent, sick humor with the world. Right there with you. Too funny. Just A Knit Wit.

Alterknit Universe: February 2011
http://alterknituniverse.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 10, 2011. Well, the quilting and patchwork is still something I'm playing with, but I took a step back to knitting to make a present for a co-worker. She didn't really give me any clues as to what she would like so I chose to make her a Penelope monster by Rebecca Danger over at Danger Crafts. Mostly because I've just been wanting to make one for awhile now! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. A Ball Of Yarn And A Remote Control. Ana Paula's Amigurumi Patterns.

Alterknit Universe: January 2010
http://alterknituniverse.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 9, 2010. I've been working on a pair of Vespergyle mittens. The pattern is by Elinor Brown and they have a two-color stranded "argyle" pattern. This is probably only the second pair of mittens I have made and maybe the second or third colorwork project I've done. If you take a look at the pictures of the whole glove, you can see there are some dark colored diamonds where the “X” is almost non-existent, having sunk into the fabric (see the orange circled area for a good examp...I picked ...

Alterknit Universe: November 2009
http://alterknituniverse.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Well, after a bit of a delay with being down sick with the flu for a week, I'm back with an update! This second picture shows the tentacles all knit, seamed and with pipe cleaners inserted. The pipe cleaners will make the legs fully pose-able! And here are the tentacles all joined in the round. This is the view of the bottom. This is all I have to show so far, but I'm working on the head, so it shouldn't be too long til this little guy is done. Sunday, November 8, 2009.

Alterknit Universe: Testing, testing...
http://alterknituniverse.blogspot.com/2011/09/testing-testing.html
Wednesday, September 21, 2011. In an effort to expand the ways in which I can post to my blog I am trying out the ability to post via email. The thought is that if this works, I will be able to post from anywhere, at any time, and hopefully that will encourage me to post more frequently! Sent from my Palm Pixi on AT&T.
