Sunday, 7 June 2015. On the Kennet and Avon canal. Yes at last we are out and about it is good to be out on the cut again and we really enjoying the K&A. We have seen some old friends and met new ones ,. As usual I have been busy with my camera and took some nice photos. This is a sculpture in Newbury called Ebb and Flow.

Monday, 2 June 2014. Leaving Anderton we soon came across where the Trent and Mersey breached ,there is some good mooring there now they did a good job ,. This was on a wall down the arm to Runcorn. This looked like a bee hive. Water tower near Runcorn. Boats moored at Lymm a very lovely small town.

Saturday, 2 August 2014. The weather and our boating plans. After two weeks of Mediterranean weather, we clambered aboard Honey just in time for the downpours. Settling in was quick, but we haven't been able to give Honey the thorough wash she deserves; that will have to wait until the rain stops. We met the local branch of the IWA at Hurleston Locks, where they were doing all the hard work in exchange for donations, and they were so friendly and helpful despite the weather. 1 November 2016 at 12:36.

Thursday, 8 January 2015. A very difficult decision. Last year we managed just 18 days of boating. This year, we have opportunity for even less. This is because of my new job, which needs me at work when everyone else in the family is on holiday. Sunday, 2 September 2012. A chaotic ending to a lovely holiday. First, here is a panoramic photo of Clarence Dock in Leeds. While in Leeds, we said hello to Robbo on DB Halcyon. I want his Dutch Barge. Théa wants his ragdoll kittens. The holiday ended suddenly in Huddersfield at 6 o'clock on a Sunday morning. By 1 o'clock in the afternoon Hugh was in surgery having his appendix removed. All's well that ends well - but I don't remember much about last week apart from several more nights in a hospital chair.

Tuesday, 20 November 2012. Its that time of year again. We've had a lovely time day tripping and occasionally overnighting on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. But with the days growing shorter, the nights closing in, the Winter Stoppages beginning and the frosts approaching, it was really time to take Honey home and get everything secured for the winter. Wednesday, 4 December 2013. The painting is finished. Have done us proud. Honey is looking gorgeous in her new colours and livery - and only a lack of space in the wharf (and time to do anything about it) prevented me from getting her into a position to take some proper photographs.
