I'm not ready to tackle any huge bikepacking rides yet, so I opted for a suitable plan B: two days riding around Flagstaff and one day in Sedona on my way home. Sounds like a winner to me. Directly across the street from the Shell station off of I-17. The first 1/4 mile starts off chunky and rutted, but quickly turns to this. Junction with Fry Canyon.

A few months ago a ride plan was hatched to bikepack the Colorado Trail from Silverton (Molas Pass) to Durango, but we called an audible a few weeks ago to keep things a bit closer to home. It wasn't all about riding, but close. This past year broke down into trimesters of sorts, the first was seemingly littered with huge rides, the middle part slowed down, but I was able to get some travel in and the back end of the year found things ramping back up in preparation for April's AZTR750.
