Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Here he is right after surgery. He was pretty groggy but still alert enough to smile for a picture! When I brought him home Nathan was so concerned about his owie. He climbed up on the table and stared at his dad all night and kept saying "ohh.dad owie! He had a tube coming out of his neck that drained all of the blood and saliva in for 3 days and that kept Nathan intrigued! Thursday, November 27, 2008. Over the river and through the woods, to grandmothers house we go. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Theron's parents house. We got to see his sister Janel, her husband Jon, and their cute baby Ellie. Cousins got to see eachother and have a great time. You could always find Nathan sneaking and getting some snacks before dinner time. Therons Aunt Natalie from Moab and friend Virginia came. It was great to see them! Note to self: NEVER schedule family pictures on my birthday!

I never know if I like photos edited or just the way God gave it to us! And yes, I fell in the water getting this picture. Just in case you may have been wondering :(. There were a few very old cars up there that had OBVIOUSLY been there for many many years. I thought it was amazing and had to photograph them!

Friday, December 25, 2009. Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope that a very special day was had by all! We had to leave hot chocolate and cookies for Santa! We didn't have any homemade, so he got oreos. I think that was ok, tho. I am pretty sure Santa digs oreos. And we couldn't just leave 1 carrot this year, but 8 since there are 8 tiny reindeer! Luckily I talked him into just 2 carrots broken up into 8 pieces. It seemed to work. I don't know that I have ever said that to him. It looks like he enjoyed them!

Friday, November 27, 2009. From Blank to Stylish! There was a pre-lit tree at Lowe's in the Black Friday ad. So I put one aside for me to get after work was done. Tonight we broke open the tree! We got it put together, with the A, B and C in the correct order. It took a little work. but we did finally get it right. You would think a college educated Mom and a kindergartener could get the A, B and C in the right order the first time. Obviously not :(. The kids were in charge of the candy cane application.

If he loves it that is all that really matters to me. He got all kinds of gifts, but I think his favorite was his new camera (well, our old one - but new to him). His first photo shoot :). Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Our Trip to Salmon, Idaho. I loved this trip! Actually it was 2 trips within 5 days of each other. My friend from work is from Salmon. Her mother was very ill. I went up there to take pictures of the family as they were having a reunion of sorts as the doctors had given her a matter of weeks to live. As we were getting ready for this trip, Dallin asked me how long this drive was going to take. I told him 5 hours. Immediately he responded, "THAT'S 300 minutes, mom! Or - not. :).
