Vrijdag 20 april 2012. Trying out my new pens (zebra and tombo) and colours (copic and pantone). My aquarium and inhabitants were the patient models. Maandag 30 juli 2012. To practice I decided to draw from Mulan. The style that is used is very basic with very few lines. it looks easy and simple. But I found that because there are so few lines it's very important that they are just right! It took me some getting used to. Also, I wanted to draw the men, not the pretty young faces. Vrijdag 25 mei 2012. Made for a group of students from Team Jacob. Vrijdag 11 mei 2012. The result of a short session of sketching with another creative at an exhibition of a friend. It's inspired by a picture of a hanging flower, closed and opened. It's also a test of using different line thicknesses and experimenting with the result.
