I've been down to just three aquariums for a while now; the planted 30 gal cube tank, 3g shrimp tank, and 50g Cichlid tank in the common house. Liam loves helping me clean the tanks and is, if nothing else, very exuberant about it - if not terribly helpful. Has given me a Mac Classic shell (btw - Thanks! Just a Geek With Far Too Many Hobbies. Rats Really Do Prefer Columbian. Jun 24th, 2008 at 11:03 AM. Effects of Coffee Bean Aroma on the Rat Brain Stressed by Sleep Deprivation. Or, to distill it a bit, a study has shown that just the smell. Of coffee can reduce stress (- in rats, with some other disclaimers). Makes sense to me, it's fairly often that people will tell me that the *love* the smell of coffee, but don't like the taste. Found on the Science Friday Podcast. Boing Boing goes to Inteligentsia.
