Abundant Blessings in Review: March 2007
http://jlcaryreviews.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Abundant Blessings in Review. Sunday, March 25, 2007. A Valley of Betrayal- A Review. History. The word brings about strong feelings you either love it or hate it. What I’ve learned though is that most people who claim to hate it usually had a teacher who focused on dates and names and forgot that history is full of people, personalities, and amazing grace. Hasn’t forgotten that. And she proves it again with her latest book A Valley of Betrayal. As I read A Valley of Betrayal. However, Tricia uniquely wr...

Abundant Blessings in Review: August 2006
http://jlcaryreviews.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Abundant Blessings in Review. Saturday, August 12, 2006. I love history. I have since I was little and my dad would tell me stories about when he was in World War II. Of course, he was careful about sharing things a child shouldn’t know. Was careful, too. She skillfully shared a part of the war that, to my knowledge, hasn’t been widely known. Without overly graphic intent, she opened my eyes to the horrors, the truth and bravery of my parents’ generation. And she did it well. Posted by Jenny @ 4:54 PM.

Abundant Blessings: July 2007
http://jlcary.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 28, 2007. To All the Dogs I've Loved Before. I'm a dog lover. Okay, so I like cats, too, but, for their own safety, I do not own any while I live in the same house with my husband. (Don't boo and hiss- he has to have at least one flaw! Does He stroke my head like I did Pugsley's that day? Since then I've looked differently at my canine friends and I've received a few life lessons in the process. Jack could just tell when I was sad and liked to rest next to me. KD was sure she she was human.

Abundant Blessings: Interview with Michelle Sutton
http://jlcary.blogspot.com/2008/09/interview-with-michelle-sutton.html
Monday, September 15, 2008. Interview with Michelle Sutton. I first met Michelle Sutton. In person when I picked her up at a mall. Okay, so there’s more to the story and to be honest, we’d seen each other before, but not had as much time to talk as we did that day when we left Metro Center and drove to our CWOW. Is now available. So, I thought you might like to get a taste of what this busy gal is like. Please welcome, Michelle Sutton! AB: Hey, Michelle! How did you get started? MS: I hooked up with my p...

http://jlcaryreviews.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Abundant Blessings in Review. Wednesday, June 14, 2006. A Stitch in Time by Allison Bottke. I think she makes her case. A fashionably fun read, I highly recommend A Stitch in Time. Posted by Jenny @ 2:00 PM. Links to this post. DragonKnight by Donita K. Paul. Buy all three books at once and start with DragonSpell so you won’t be in my shoes grabbing my credit card to buy two more books. Posted by Jenny @ 1:45 PM. Links to this post. Monday, June 12, 2006. Read Any Good Books Lately? Links to this post.

Abundant Blessings: A Time to Laugh
http://jlcary.blogspot.com/2009/11/time-to-laugh.html
Sunday, November 22, 2009. A Time to Laugh. When things get tough or sad, I find that laughter is soothing to my soul. Well, this past week has been one of those times so I looked for something funny. I discovered (or rediscovered) some great You Tube videos. If you are a fan of the Back to the Future. Series, you'll get a kick out of these. Enjoy! This is for all my adult ESL students. And this is for my Project students- see how easy Haiku poetry can be? And for all parents with kids in sports.

Abundant Blessings in Review: December 2007
http://jlcaryreviews.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Abundant Blessings in Review. Saturday, December 08, 2007. Review for A Shadow of Treason. Fine, I admit it. I love history. Not so much the dry stuff like dates, etcetera, but even that can be fun if you learn the nuances and trivia behind it all. It’s the personalities, the reasoning and the what if’s. That make it so enjoyable. That’s why I love Tricia Goyer’s books. Her most recent historical, A Shadow of Treason. Is part of her Chronicles of the Spanish Civil War series. A Shadow of Treason. You wou...
