http://teamorton.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Life in the O-zone. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Our week in Instagram {April 9-15}. A quick recap of last week. Monday, April 9. Jjr woke up at 5:45 that morning. Since we were up early, we went ahead and did our grocery run. This boy loves Publix- the people, so much to look at, and riding in the cart. So proud of his new sitting up trick that he'd rather do that than nap. Tuesday, April 10. It was supposed to be nap time. Wednesday, April 11. Thursday, April 12. Friday, April 13. Life in the O-zone: August 2011
http://teamorton.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Life in the O-zone. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Catching up - first days at home. Saturday, August 6. Baby sign from Parkway. Before I started working at Parkway, I was in Huntsville one weekend and an area church had placed a sign like this in the yard of a home in our neighborhood. I loved it and knew this had to be part of my ministry to families. My friend Lynda made it happen! While we were still in the hospital, our friend Amy and her boys delivered the sign to our yard:). Jack's first ice cream cake!

Life in the O-zone: The Story of Us
http://teamorton.blogspot.com/2010/02/story-of-us.html
Life in the O-zone. Thursday, August 26, 2010. The Story of Us. This is going to be like one of those recaps from LOST (our favorite show, btw). Rebecca grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. And little brother, Michael. The most recent picture of us (July 2010 @ Sara's Wedding). John was born in Winston-Salem, NC, lived in Bowling Green, KY for a few years, but spent most of his growing years outside of DC in Vienna, VA. Our favorite pic from John's growing up years. John immediately joined our group of friends.

Life in the O-zone: In Our Kitchen ~ Crab Cakes
http://teamorton.blogspot.com/2012/04/in-our-kitchen-crab-cakes.html
Life in the O-zone. Monday, April 16, 2012. In Our Kitchen Crab Cakes. Not only does John say that this is one of the best things that I cook, he says these. Crab cakes are the best he's had ANYWHERE. The recipe is from the Williams-Sonoma Bride and Groom Cookbook. I registered for this cookbook at WS when we got married and every recipe I've made from it has been amazing. 1 Tbsp olive oil. 1/3 cup minced yellow onion. 1/3 cup minced celery. Kosher salt and pepper. 1lb fresh or thawed frozen lump crabmeat.

Those Penny Boys: 2012: Week Two
http://r2cents.blogspot.com/2012/01/2012-week-two.html
Thursday, January 19, 2012. We had a pretty standard week last week.not too much to tell. Joel was out of town at a conference so we just stuck to our normal routines of school, gym and home. I wasn't feeling great towards the end of the week, so we were very glad to have Daddy home on Friday afternoon! I put the boys in these matching jammies one afternoon and Nate wanted to play in Cole's crib. Cole's new cheesy face. Cole is still loving his jumpy. Love those chef hats! Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Cole is 6 months old! Poor Cole is definitely a second child.I'm a little behind on his updates. But no news is good news and our little guy is doing great! Here are his 3, 4, 5 and 6 month bear pictures (I have been good about taking those! At 4 months he was weighing 15 lbs 11.5 oz (50%) and was 24.75 inches (25-50%). We are working on eating cereal, which he doesn't like at all and I have to make him laugh to open his mouth and then shove it in. Saturday, June 4, 2011. Tempor...

Those Penny Boys: July 2011
http://r2cents.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 3, 2011. Feeding Nate his first cereal is one of my favorite memories.it's so funny how different it was for Cole. I had been putting it off for a while and finally decided it was time. He was not much of a fan. Then with us making a big deal about cereal, Nate chimes in and says that he wants a bowl of cereal too! Oh, these boys! I'd been trying to shove rice cereal into Cole every night. He would be so tight lipped I'd have to make him laugh to get any in! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tempo...

Those Penny Boys: October 2011
http://r2cents.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 9, 2011. Nate is two and a half now and continues to do more and more every day. His verbal skills have really taken off and he is mastering his two word sentences and is constantly mimicking what we say. He also loves singing! Nate is getting better about eating different foods and we are also working harder on eating meals as a family and not just giving in to his food requests (otherwise he would live off of granola bars and goldfish.). Nate will say "What's wrong, Cole? He is a health...

Thursday, January 27, 2011. The Best $5 I've Ever Spent. Nate has been more into animals and animal sounds, so when I saw these farm animals in the $1 section at Target I knew we had to get some! He has had so much fun playing with them, moving them around and his favorite (as you can see in the 2nd video) lining them up and then knocking them down yelling "no, no, no! Can you tell who is who? Thursday, January 20, 2011. Cole is One Month Old! He eats every 2-3 hours. He still sleeps so much, so we haven...
