God of the Journey. Thursday, August 23, 2012. The biopsy and bronchoscopy went well. It took about 2 hours, a little longer than normal because they struggled to get an IV started and had to put it in her femoral (? The surgeon said Caroline's lungs and airways look anatomically/architecturally right (as we expected). The test results will trickle in Monday and through the week. If we do not get a diagnosis, we will at least rule out many possibilities and move forward with the steroid trial.
