All hikes include pick-up/drop-off, fresh water during and after the hike, and a towel dry or paw wipe when necessary. A daily fitness log, GPS tracking of our route, and a photo of your dog hiking is also included. 1 hour group hike: $28. 1 hour individual hike: $35. 30 minute walk: $18. 45 minute walk: $22.

News from the Crib. Sunday, August 9, 2015. We are having some repairs made to our house and last week, the very tippy-top window was open. It's a stained glass, half-round window in the upper-most peak, so I took the opportunity to check out the view. The boys loved it. Cannons, horses, guys with hats with feathers, guns, guns, guns! Followed by questions, questions, questions! But we weren't all business on this outing: we also took time for rock-throwing in the Haw River at Saxapahaw. No more old dawg.

While he was there, he went to Five Yesterdays at Old Salem (basically "history camp). This was something I did and absolutely loved. News from the Crib. Saturday, October 25, 2014. Mordecai House, a house museum near our not-museum-house, hosted a Halloween party today. One of us came away a crowned winner. Masks for Macon and Mama. Yes, Macon is wearing Jed's old Fireman Sam outfit, but that was his choice. I offered a variety of options that would have meant creating a whole new outfit, but he stuck with the tried-and-true. Costume Contest, Round 1. Macon braved the line-up for the 5-and-under category. Here, he's being judged.

News from the Crib. Saturday, July 18, 2015. San fran photos by a real photographer. Marmie has had professional family photos of us made in Duluth twice in the past and she did it again this year in San Francisco. Macon had an ear infection that was diagnosed a few hours later, so he didn't always put his best foot forward, but Carol Vaziri. Managed to get wonderful images in spite of Macon's heightened recalcitrance. These are some of my favorites . . . Thankfully, the gap-teeth bring it back to reality.
