The one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding. Edification) and encouragement and consolation. Mark 3:14-15] There is here a rhythm of being together, but also being sent out to overcome the power of the enemy. http://mike-watson.blogspot.com/2011/03/may-lamb-that-was-slain-receive-reward.html
Friday, March 18, 2011. May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering". As their ship left the harbor, friends and relatives heard them shouting “ May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering. And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? I think you raise ...

Mike's Musings: Oh the joys of sacrifice and suffering . . .
http://mike-watson.blogspot.com/2011/03/oh-joys-of-sacrifice-and-suffering.html
Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Oh the joys of sacrifice and suffering . . . Today is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent within the Anglican (and other) Church's calendar. Lent is traditionally known as the forty-days (excluding Sundays) preceding Easter Sunday, the resurrection of our Lord, and the climactic feast day on the Christian calendar. The Scriptural basis of this season stems from Jesus’ own forty days of wandering in the desert and subsequent temptation by the devil. You make known to me the path.
