Monday, January 28, 2008. We got some new furniture! No more of that nasty particle board table that didnt stand up straight! And no more wicker chairs! We are now the proud owners of this beautiful round counter height table with the 18 inch leaf. And the chairs! They're so comfortable and attractive! We also found a nice, simple bed frame and some side tables. We bought them separately but they appear to be the same color, so we got kinda lucky! Next up on the list of improvements: Paint! Tuesday, September 12, 2006. I took a trip to Multnomah Falls with my friend Josh Vail, and a coworker of his, and we stumbled upon one of my favorite actors of all time! OK, not really, but he is a pretty funny actor and recently checked into a rehab center near Newberg, Oregon. He was very social but wasn't signing any autographs. We hiked up to the top of the falls right in front of him - he was doing impersonations and funny voices the whole way up. He seemed like a pretty cool guy!

Monday, April 21, 2008. Andy and I have found a new joy. We take our Skip-Bo and go to the Starbucks just a ways away. We grab a cup of coffee and go outside to the patio to enjoy. There's a restaurant called Mojito (mmm! Across the way that hires live music for the weekend dinner crowd. Two weeks ago was fantastic, so fantastic that we went back this past weekend! Sunday, November 18, 2007. Rachel and Rob come to Tampa. Just wanted to give a little update on what has been happening recently. Most noteworthy is that Rachel and Rob came and visited us. We are thankful they were able to take time out of their busy schedules to give us some much appreciated company and fun. Rob flew over from Texas (working there with the FDIC) and Rachel took a red-eye from Seattle. We had a great time Carving Pumpkins. Check out a few pics below. Labels: Myakka River State Park.

Sunday, September 30, 2007. Here are some pictures of the artists! Dennis played once for, pretty much, Joanne, Jordan and me when we showed up for Piano night at the cofee shop. The original piano player didn't show up so Dennis played a few tunes for us. He has some amazing talent. Dylan recently moved to the area with his wife, Marie, and is involved with the music ministry in a local church. He played some great guitar! This is Roy Ayres. Wednesday, August 22, 2007. El Paso to . Florida! Sorry we have been slackers for the last 6 days. Well, not really since we drove around 2,000 miles and unpacked a stinkin' huge Penske moving truck! We have been arranging stuff and getting everything out of boxes so we can have a complete home. Meanwhile, I have also been working on getting the Tampa QC office up and running. Here is a picture of us right after we pulled into Sunny Florida. We had to drive another 6 hours or so to get to Tampa! Cimarron...

Thursday, May 01, 2008. This last weekend was a blast. We celebrated Dad's/Mike's/ DIL's. Birthday, stylishly, here in sunny Florida! We checked out The Kennedy Space Center, Myakka. River State Park, The Dali Museum (St Pete), and The Sarasota Wine Festival. We also made coffee, made some extra tasty food, played fun games ( SkipBo. And enjoyed the company of Heyford. Here are a couple pictures of our adventurous times! Making Apple Crisp from apples purchased. At a fruit stand next to Andy's office.

Beaverton City Council votes unanimously to reject WalMart's Cedar Mill site plans claiming that the WalMart would endanger pedestrians, motorists and bicyclists!
