Don't try to sneak around too many people in this town know us and we will find out. She's fine with it and she actually gave up her phone willingly. I think it was getting to be too much for her. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Last week and this week has been filled with visits to the gym, and finishing the rainbow tutus. And the visors for the non riders. Hehehe Wait until you see the pictures after the ride! She decided against swimming with them as the water was cold and she'd need a wetsuit. We've planned a trip to the Dry Tortugas where we can go scuba diving.hopefully the water is warm! I wonder if when your Mom and Liz were crossing state lines they put out their hand to see who crossed it fi...

Sunday, November 30, 2008. It's been a little over 2 weeks since we finished the Smart Ride, ending at the White Street Pier AIDS Memorial in Key West under a beautiful blue sky. Correction: beautiful blue sky in amazingly HOT weather. Hotter than we expected. Hotter than is normal. Which was followed by 3 days of wind gusts ranging from 10-35mph and temperatures below normal. So much for my plan of lounging by the pool! December 9, 2008 at 10:48 AM. Monday, August 25, 2008. Football seasons a comin'. Chris and I joined a Steeler fan club in our town. The couple that started it used to drive down a ways to go see the games with some other fans, but thought they would like to keep it closer to home. So we showed up on Saturday night to meet them. They are from Pittsburgh, but seriously Chris new as much Trivia about the Steelers as they did. They brought the cups, plates, bear, the Steeler Fight Song (which I did not know existed! Ode to the grandmas.

Or the moment where they say something to you that is so heavenly you know that being a Mommy is worth all the trials you go through each day? Drew came home from school yesterday and thanked me for letting her wear mascara since some of her friends Mom's won't let them (small blessings from her because she is 12). Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Labor day is always a weekend packed full of pool time. Lots of friends came from all over to spend the weekend with us. At one time there were three Moms and about 8 kids in the jacuzzi. For some reason we have a lot of little girls, there were three boys.
