We have now been in Mexico for 5 weeks! I never knew just how much a person could experience in such a short time. Let’s start with. We got to go take a history tour in the mountains and learn all about Mexico’s history. It was pretty fascinating to learn more about the culture and the way certain things are the way they are. No need to say more.

Levi on the lawn of our school. As for Mexico, we are adjusting well. It is the "dead of winter" down here with temps only getting in the low 80's during the day and in the low 70's at night. Brutal, right? A cool tree we pass every morning on our way to classes. January 10, 2014 at 7:50 PM. Very Cool. Buena Suerte!

Let’s get that out of the way right now…. We have decided to stay in Mexico to complete all four levels of our program. That means instead of coming back in April, we won’t be back in Springfield until August. Learn Spanish made more sense than coming back four months earlier not being able to speak it well at all.

Friday, September 23, 2011. Most of you have probably heard by now. we're having a BABY! April 9 is the estimated date of arrival! I've had a rough few weeks of nausea and tiredness, but Sunday I will be 12 wks! I think I'm coming out of they 'yucky' feeling part.for a while that is! Aubrey is excited to be a BIG SISTER! Every day she changes her mind as to whether or not she wants a brother or a sister! We're just hoping for a healthy baby! We'll find out after Thanksgiving if it's a girl or boy.

Wednesday, November 30, 2011. My world is now BLUE! As many of you know, we are expecting baby #2 in April. Today I am 21 wks and 5 days.almost 22 weeks along! I love the first kicks and movement that only I can feel. I love that I am the only one really getting to know this little person before I am obligated to share them with the world. Monday was our ultrasound to measure the head, bones and make sure all is on track, and to find out BOY or GIRL! And we pulled it off perfectly! Our world has been pink.
