As a sort of interactive "mirror", SW prompts visitors to become aware of their own posture and gait through a sonic representation of their actions while walking, running, jumping or, in general, moving in space. VSE was conceived as a sonic diversion for a video exhibition. A sort of interactive “mirror”, VSE invites visitors to create an audio-visual representation of their own physical movements. The sound plays a fundamental role, acting as a stimulus and a guide for gesture. From an enactive point of view, the generated sound provides a more immediate and, somehow, more embodied feedback than the visual result.
