Monday, August 9, 2010. Craven Sibling Beach Vacation. At the end of July we all headed over to Oceanside for a mini beach vacation. Derek's parents along with four of their six children and their families were able to make the trip. It was great to see everyone and get to spend time at the coast. The weather wasn't as cooperative as we had wished but it didn't rain. It was a busy weekend but still ended up to be somewhat relaxing. We went over Hwy 26 on our way to the coast so. Kennedy, Grace and Peyton.

Monday, April 4, 2011. Kauai Getting There and Day 1. Be sure to click on "older posts" at the bottom of the page to see day six. At the beginning of March Derek and I were lucky enough to get a week vacation in Kauai.without the girls! We enjoyed the entire week and can't wait to return. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Couple Of Cute Kids. I couldn't resist taking this picture. Peyton neatly tucked in her favorite baby, monkey and bear next to her after I tucked her in for the night. She is so sweet when she is sleeping. During the day is another story! Why not tie a rope to the catwalk for Peyton to swing on? Laynie is getting so big already. She loves her mobile. Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Snow and More Snow! Snow on the go! We got a little snow the day after Christmas. It didn't last long but we got a chance to get out and enjoy it. This was Laynie's first real snow experience! She wasn't entirely sure about it. The following Wednesday morning we woke up to 6" or so of snow. Yeah! Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Umm, Dad. So, I am going to start by saying that we have absolutely wonderful neighbors that watch our chickens when we are gone. I was talking with Easton about having them watch our chickens the next time we go away and Easton comes back with, "but mom, Dave and Jen don't have a basket to collect the eggs" (they haven't watched them since they started laying! And that led to my little egg basket for the neighbors.

Friday, February 26, 2010. Peep, peep, peep, peep, peep. On a side note, when I told Peyton it was time to say goodbye to the chicks she asked if we could go to Aunt Jen's house. It made me laugh that she remembered they have chickens at their house. What a kind Wilco employee. He could see that Peyton wanted to touch one oh so badly so he pulled one out for her.
