Join us on our journey along the Pacific Crest Trail. Monday, August 27, 2012. We are now camped overlooking a beautiful view of California from O-R-E-G-O-N! We dragged the day out. Taking breaks to chat with fellow hikers, snack, nap. When we got to the border, it was a blur of high fives, hugs, photos, Coo-Hees, and hollering. We hiked up the hill to find the spot we're camped in now, feeling out this new Oregon thing. Does it feel different? I don't know yet. We'll see when we get to Ashland! The sign...

It seemed like our new lifestyle contrasted so strongly with their. Lifestyle that they were extremely interested in our journey and were full of questions. Yes, we do sleep outside in the dirt. Yes, for months at a time. As soon as we got out of the car and said our goodbyes and thank yous, we realized we had left three hats in town-. Not too long now.
