August 3, 2016. August 3, 2016. As our season ends, we say goodbye to a wonderful cat, blue egg laying chicken and city life. But tomorrow we wake up to a new puppy, new drive and new friends. Schedules develop and emotions grow. Our next season begins. As for the parents, we have been able to slowly identify and start working on the little things we always knew needed work. October 23, 2016. October 24, 2016. This weekend has felt great! Both weather wise and all around growth. This weekend we rented a “digger” as our three years old likes to call it. All weekend we worked to make the fire pit area walkable and flat. We all seem to join in and work as a team. A few things…. December 11, 2016. As with any mother of little ones that are sick, the illness cleared up before I could completely lose my mind. The day after I posted the last post, little brother got sick but, that was inevitable. Once the carrying of bundled up boys from one hut to the other was over and we could all be sick together, underground, we were able to enjoy a few things. Another joy, which can be debateable, to reappear was the elf on the shelf, Gumbo. Like, making gingerbread houses:.

September 26, 2016. Lately we have been hosting friends for overnight stays in the gully huts and camping in their tents. With each visit from a friend, we are getting better at knowing what area to clean the most, where to store what items, what is needed in the green kitchen hut. Perspective changes everything…. September 2, 2016. September 2, 2016. There have been some techical difficulties which is why the delay in writing. My phone has become my one stop, do it all, component of technology. So, when it breaks, there are no pictures taken, websites searched or time wasted. Thus, the delay. But this time has been a reflective one, which often happens when we unplug for a while. So, let’s get back to life underground for a moment. What have we been doing? Taking care of business!
