Consuming Kids: the Commercialization of Childhood. May 11, 2015. I mean to invade the lives of children for an ad campaign seems insane, almost creepy, to me. All this marketing at a young age is due to some called cradle to grave brand loyalty. Marketers want children to be loyal to their brands, so that way when they are older- they will supply their children with the same brands they knew and loved as a child. But how far is too far? Since recording children in bathrooms is not too far, what will be?
