Message from the President. Golden Pass LNG's five storage tanks are each large enough to hold the volume of 62 olympic-size swimming pools. The tanks were constructed with 50 million pounds of steel and 5,000 valves. The Golden Pass berth area is large enough to hold about 77 football fields. The Port Arthur area and Sabine-Neches Waterway serve as an excellent location for an LNG terminal, as it is one of only a few deepwater ports along the Gulf Coast suitable for LNG carriers.
