Saturday, 2 November 2013. With Halloween over, our season has officially come to an end. However wet weather is keeping the tractors out of the field, so some vegetables are still out there for picking. At 1.00 per cabbage and 5.00 bushels for the rest, just serve yourself and pay the cashbox if we're not around. We still have garlic, onions, cabbage, and squash for sale in the barn. Sunday, 29 June 2014. So, the peas were popular. The first patch is picked over and the next isn't quite filled out, so let's not pick peas until Tuesday. Thursday, 26 June 2014. Fava bean were picked heavy this week so you have to look harder but they're still available. Zucchini plants are small for U-pick, but we've got some kousa for sale.
