Oakfield Farm at Golden Cross. For Camping in the beautiful East Sussex countryside, at the head of the Cuckmere valley, this 30 acre working farm. Is well placed for exploring the South Downs Country Park, The High Weald, Ashdown Forest, and the Sussex coast. Sorry, we are closed from 31st August. Booking Enquiry, Prices. Directions and Farm Map. Area Map and Footpaths. Campfires are allowed, logs for sale, £6 a net, kindling with firelighters £1.50. We reserve this for adults. Newhaven, Paradise Park.

Oakfield Farm at Golden Cross. This is a five minute walk across grass meadows.Campfires are allowed and logs can be purchased on site. We keep this area for the adults. Experience a little bit of heaven on Oakfield Farm and Mill Farm. Phases of the moon. One hour south of the M25 down the A22. Seven mile down from Uckfield or 11 mile up from Eastbourne. At the Golden Cross Inn turn south down Chalvington Road. Entrance to Oakfield Farm is just 100 yards on the left, and entrance gate to campsite is another 200m down the lane. Post Code BN27 3ST will take you 100metres too far down Chalvington Road,. And some sat-navs and maps mistakenly call us Sheepcote Lane.
