This wasn’t only my first bike, but it was also my first time to ride a bike on the street. So I wanted a lightweight bike that I can easily handle. About my motorcycling history. Day 12-2011 Motorcycle Journey. 266 Miles- Great Falls, MT to Red Lodge, MT. This is purely a travel day. The temperature ranged from 72 to 97 . We got covered in bugs from every direction. Somehow, I have more bug splats on my fuel tank that on my windshield. A quick 5-minute rain shower, and a very strong wind gust on MT 78. About my motorcycling history. 2010 Motorcycle road trip summary. 17 days, 3 time zones, 3,701 miles, 4 National Parks (if you count the South Rim and North Rim of the Grand Canyon as 2 separate parks), several National Monuments, and a Tribal Monument. About my motorcycling history. Part of Odd Bits. But because they are a Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Yamaha dealer, they frequently need to order the tires for my bike. And the first question is “what size? Like I said, I just discovered this morning the tire difference; so in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t make that big of a difference. but it does explain some observations that I’ve had in the last 2 years. When you put the bike on the center stand, the tire still touches the ground (ever so slightly).
