Lifelong Student: March 2014
http://lifelong-student.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
You never really stop learning. I hope. My opinion on vaccines. I am not anti-vaccine. I am not pro-vaccine. I want people to know the risks of vaccinating and the risks of not vaccinating. And then I want them to be able to CHOOSE what is right for their child or themselves. I do not want the government to force people to vaccinate. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Lifelong Student: Joy and pain.
http://lifelong-student.blogspot.com/2013/07/joy-and-pain.html
You never really stop learning. I hope. Autism can really take the pleasure out of life. Church dinners, eating out, hiking, camping, and more. However, life isn't about pleasure. I am willing to do this. But I am struggling to have the right attitude as I do the right thing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Lifelong Student: September 2011
http://lifelong-student.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
You never really stop learning. I hope. I did okay. Not spectacular, but good. I worked in the kitchen and the laundry area. I mopped. And mopped. I cleaned counters and did dishes. I cleared off the table of unnecessary items (which chore has to be done regularly at our house). I know that doesn't sound like much, but it took some time. Today I need to spend some extra time preparing for Bible Study tomorrow night, so we'll see if anything else gets done this morning. I've heard of "spring cleaning".

Lifelong Student: March 2011
http://lifelong-student.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
You never really stop learning. I hope. The week got a little crazier as we went. Wednesday night I was wiped out. I got a nice break the next night, however, going on a date with my hubby. Today I'm trying to finish up preparations for a party tonight. I didn't realize how much difference it makes to have a couple hours each day with no kids at home. The house looks pretty terrible today. Thankfully the aforementioned party is not at my house. Enjoy a little peace and quiet on Monday morning. Year-old o...

Lifelong Student: January 2012
http://lifelong-student.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
You never really stop learning. I hope. Courage. I did it again. I usually am so afraid of doing the wrong thing that I do nothing, and so miss the opportunity to do good. It may not have done any good, but I did what seemed right and good. And afterwards, I was glad. Yes, I know January is almost gone. But in case you haven't noticed, I don't blog every day so I'm just now getting some things posted. (Not that I don't want to blog more. I just don't have the time.). If you come to my house you won't see...

Lifelong Student: May 2011
http://lifelong-student.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
You never really stop learning. I hope. Summer is upon us. This is the first day that the boys don't have school and their daddy isn't home. The weekend has been full of away-from-home activities, so today they may get restless. I have some activities in mind, both at home and away, but nothing specific planned. I've tried a couple ways with them but no success so far. PJ already said that on our dates we'll probably be hitting up places like Panera Bread, Ted's, Olive Garden, etc. where we'll eat lo...

Lifelong Student: Pet Peeve #13
http://lifelong-student.blogspot.com/2013/07/pet-peeve-13.html
You never really stop learning. I hope. I try not to have a lot of "pet peeves", or I could go around being annoyed all the time. But this is one that I frequently run into. I hate it when I feel like I haven't accomplished much, and the boys come along and undo what I've done. Like spilling juice all over the kitchen floor. Or pulling wet, once-clean, laundry out of the washer onto the floor. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Thoughts on Homeschooling an Autistic Child.
