The second notable thing about the place, one which instantly puts it up there amongst the weirdest football locales I've ever had the pleasure to visit, is that the whole playing space exists in the shadow of a colossal, heaving ruin of an old warehouse*, which audibly creaks with every gust of wind. Full of ghosts and a million deflated Mitre balls.

African Overland Trip 2011. Mission complete - a truly great adventure had by all! To drive from the UK to Durban in South Africa, travelling overland across the African continent. 15,000 miles, 3 vehicles, 6 people, what could possibly go wrong. . The 'gone for a drive Team. Consists of two commercial pilots, three Land Rover specialists (Engineers) and one personal assistant by profession, each with our own areas of expertise, this trip would seemingly have been tailor made for us! RIP The Mighty Smurf.

Gone for a few days. De retour dans 90 jours. Nous arrivons à Salvador vers 18 heures. Il fait déjà noir. Éric propose de prendre le taxi. Mais on avait convenu de prendre le bus, non? Je pensais que c’était réglé cette histoire. Et puis combien ça coute ce taxi? 85% des crimes violents à Salvador sont causés par le crack. It's been a big year for us, almost through our first year of marriage and Liz hasn't run screaming for the door.yet. I'm getting ready for the golf season and Liz is looking forward to the warmer weather. Cheers to everyone out there that found our site, Wishing you all safe travels! Weather back home in Calgary. Just a sampling of the people and places that we've seen. A quick journal that I'll try to keep up while I'm away, I'm not making any promises but we'll do our best.
